I feel there is no continuity from one season to another. Drastic changes are taking place during every winter breaks. May be too much money and too many fools around giving too many stupid ideas making the F1 look dynamic more outside than in the race track. Hope somebody infuse sanity in the F1 gang.
I saw Michael Phelps win 8 Gold Medals in Beijing Olympic. Bernie’s idea will be just mocking such Olympic feats. Too stupid an idea knowing fully well machine plays a much bigger role than the drivers as we saw driver like Alonso are not winners mainly because their machines are not top notch.
I am very surprised to see the car manufacturers like Mercedes, Toyota are still in F1 knowing fully well the comedy that is going on in F1. Day will come all the car manufacturers will consider participation in F1 itself will bring in disrepute.
Honda has done the right thing. F1 has missed the plot. Honda’s decision I hope is not just a matter of profit and loss. More than that many factors including the stupidity of F1 might have prompted them to move out.
Before they bring homogeneity to engine, let Bernie & Co bring homogeneity to the seasons at least for a 10 year period by freezing the rules, format and the whole F1 process.
