Missing Caylee

Ever since I came across the NEWS story I have continued to follow it through internet.

Caylee Anthony went missing in June2008 in Orlando, Florida. The girl is only 2 and Half years old. Numerous photos and videos are published till this day. Each one further increasing the concern for this little child. Her mother, Casey Anthony, a 22 year old informed police only after a month after her disappearance. Casey Anthony has informed that she was scared to approach the police and claimed to be doing investigation on her own for more than a month. Police started intial investigation on 15Jul2008.

Meanwhile, Casey Anthony has changed the date she last seen her child Caylee Anthony by a week to Jul152008. Many of her answers to the police are vague or misleading. Police has declared Casey Anthony as a “Person of Interest”. As per her, she left the child with a baby sitter by name Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez in an apartment and found both of them missing when she returned back. Police are yet to trace the woman with the name she had given. Police also found the apartment Casey referred was not in use for a long time. Also none of Casey family member’s have seen this mysterious lady “Gonzalez”. During the one month period, Casey Anthony has lied to her relatives regarding the where abouts of Caylee Anthony.

Even though police still in the look out for the child, many suspect that the child is no more and her mother knows more than what she has revealed about missing Caylee Anthony.

As the NEWS hit the media there were unusual interest among public. Many volunteering in the search for the missing girl. Got in the cross fire is the Anthony family who intially distanced a bit from Casey Anthony and is now supporting her.

Casey’s mother Cindy who made a complaint on her daughter, Casey Anthony, of fraud and theft of a car later informed police that she smelt Cadavar in the back of the car Casey seen driving last. Later Cindy Anthony, Grand Mother, of Caylee Anthony, retracted her statement saying that the smell may be the smell of decaying garbage in the truck.

As a lead to the case police have found hair in the back of the car that resembles Caylee hair color and length. Casey Anthony’s neighbor has reported to police that Casey borrowed a shovel during this period. Police dog also gave indication of cadavar smell in the car and in the Anthony’s backyard. Digging up the backyard however has not given any lead.

Casey Anthony was arrested on child neglect and misleading police in the investigation. She was also arrested for fraud and theft after being bailed out once. Casey Anthony’s friends say that Casey Anthony is a habitual liar and known to involve in petty thefts. Police has released photos from Casey Anthony. Some of them from her Photo Bucket account and some form the computer. Some poems she has written and retreived from PC has further added to suspicion.

Throughout this investigation, Anthony has shown very little emotion, according to police. “She has a very calm demeanor. She doesn’t seem to be too worried,” said Padilla. “To me, if one of our children is missing, your stress level goes up, but she shows no signs of it.” Casey Anthony has retorted saying that she requires to be cool in the need of the hour. She feels that it will be useful if she keeps cool and serach for her child rather than sit and cry.

Casey Anthony insist that she has not harmed her child and her top priority is to find her child.

Recent report says Casey Anthony has searched for “Chloroform” in the internet through her laptop. Police may find clue from enquiring on the conduct of Casey during the month of June and July2008. Her behavior and her mood that was evident during those days may give vital insight into her level of involvement. Hope the child is alive.
