US Financial crisis has come at a very wrong time for McCain and Republicans. When they were leading in polls, the financial crisis involving Lehmann Brothers has come as a setback and looks like will take away the presedential chances away from John McCain.
The recent polls show 53-43 for Obama-McCain. Ever since the crisis in the Wall Street broke out the opinion poll started showing a reverse. Starting at 47-45 in favor of McCain before the financial crisis to 47-45 in favor of Obama in few days after the collapse of AIG and Others. Further it moved up in favor of Obama 49-42 in record 3 days. The only significant milestone that still exist that could bring some relief is the 2 together TV appearance which is starting on 28Sep2008. But the writing is on the wall and is very clear what is coming on. A magnificiant victory for Obama in 04Nov2008.
Adding to the misery is the extreme negative review of Sarah Palin. Her lack of experience in foriegn policies already put a big question mark on her selection. Many opinion poll indicate majority of the Americans believe that Sarah Palin is not the right candidate for the challenges that exist in US.
Also the history of US. Never ever US has send back the party in power back to Washington when they are in recession. So…. is it bye bye McCain and Sarah Palin?

McCain was found wanting in many areas. That includes his choice of running mate. Sarah Palin. Barack Obama projected him as second avatar of George Bush which further moved the voters towards Obama.
Due to Financial turmoil John McCain had a humiliating defeat at the hands of Barack Obama.
