Canadian GP has brought some surprises. First time it looks like McLaren has moved a bit up in the qulaifying pace. I expect Hamilton to pit early due to running with lesser fuel. (sort by 2 lap worth fuel compared to Ferrari’s).
But bigger surprise is Kubica’s threatening form. He has taken 2nd place ahead of Kimi. Massa no where in sight. Clearly Ferrari sliding down. Hope they make a strong come back in the European leg.
Alonso and Roseberg are the big gainers at the expense of Massa. Button should be cursing his luck looking at the way Williams has performed all this season.
Two big loser are Kovalainen and Nick Heidfeld. Clearly Nick has given away the No1 spot in his team to Kubica. Kovailenen is not expected to beat Hamilton but stay close but his performance is patchy.
Rubens slowly moving up in performance. He is performing better than Button. Expect Button to search for a better team next season. That brings us to Nelson Piquet. He is sure to be out next year. That gives room for a person like Button.
One team you can discount for the next season is Torro Rossa. Already they are fast coming down. Next year if they are available in the grid , they will be at the bottom.
Force India is back to reality. Only performance worth noting is Sutil has qualified one up than Fisichella.
Glock ending up 11th ahead of his team mate Trulli who is spinnig whole day. Trulli hope gives some spirited display tommorrow.
Here is the time sheet. Happy watching Canadian GP. Please share your experience after the race.
